I think so because it asks the person to choose only one subject that they like the most. While the other question ‘Which subjects do you like’ allows person to name several subjects.

Colourful Golas
During school lunch break children rush to eat gola of their favourite colour. Rohan and Anjali record the golas eaten by different children. They want to eat the one that is most eaten by others. They both start recording the golas eaten by the children.

Look at the information given above. Colour the line drawing of the golas appropriately.
1. Which colour ice gola do the children eat:

b) the least
How do you know?
Solution:
(a) the most – Yellow
(b) the least – Blue
We know this by counting the number ice golas of each colour eaten by the children.
2. Which colour gola would Anjali and Rohan have bought?
Solution:
They would have bought the yellow gola, as it is eaten by the highest number of children.
3. Which colour golas did boys eat the most?
Solution:
Yellow.
4. Which colour golas did girls eat the most?
Solution:
Red, orange and yellow.
5. Which of the ways of representing data did you use to answer these questions and why?
Solution:
I used Rohan’s way of representing data to answer these questions because it gives more information, such as the number of girls and boys eating each colour of gola, compared to Anjali’s way.
